How to switch off genius for apps

I have followed the suggestions on the forum to no avail. Anyone else got any other ideas. Also I can't get the page to disappear when I press the done button, it is laying over the apps page and nothing seems to work, any ideas?

Go to the Settings, and in the App Store or iTunes section there should be a Genius on/off toggle
