Hi,

i have my first Ipad, i use it in my studio (music). I want to switch off that i have to fill in my code *all the time*. It´s totally annoying.
where ? how ? (i-pad air, M3, latest ios i would guess) )

(same problem with my i-phone btw. / while i once managed to set this to off on an older i-phone)

and how to delete all the preinstalled apple apps ? i was able to deinstall some, but not all.
Or at least, how to get rid of these app Icons from my main screen ? Same: it´s annoying

Settings > FaceID & Passcode > Turn Passcode Off

Name the default Apps you would like to uninstall for better instructions, otherwise:
Press and hold finger on app for 5 seconds > All apps will begin to wiggle > Tap the little (-) at the top right of the app you wish to delete.

You'll have to be watchful when updating your iPadOS to make sure you choose "Don't use Passcode". Of course, it's easy enough to repeat the step above, but unnecessary.

Someone has to Say it. A simple one handed passcode is better than no passcode.
Now have fun and go ahead with no passcode!

Or there’s Touch ID:
After you set up Touch ID, you can use Touch ID to unlock your iPhone[/iPad/Mac]. Just press the Touch ID sensor using the finger that you registered with Touch ID.

Similar goes for iPhone (and Face ID):
