Just behind you
So yeh we can sync Safari's bookmarks to .Mac but we can't seem to be able to do that for other browser. I'm using Firefox.

What I do is that I have installe the Foxmarks extension and set ip to back up my bookmarks on my iDisk on a regular basis. It works great except that it is just backup: I cannot browse them online. It creates a XML file.

So is there a way to read an XML file online? if there is then i'd just relocate the file in a public folder to quickly access them from another computer.

There was this FF extension that would sync FF bookmarks to Safari but it seems to have disappeared.

Any ideas?

This is a good question, and one I'm wondering about myself, now that I decided to keep .Mac after the significant updates made to it recently. I use a Firefox extension called Bookmark Sync and Sort for backup of my bookmarks online, but like you, I cannot browse the backed up bookmarks while away from my computer.

I use Google Browser Sync to sync up my stuff between my Mac and my Windows machine. It also works between two Macs or two Windows machines.

Yeh I did try GSync extension for Firefox but it takes way too long to sync when trying to close Firefox...At least this is what I have experienced. Do you experience the same? i ay give it another try.

I do want to find a way to replicate the safari bookmarks synchronization.

If i could find a way to integrate an XML file into a html document then i'd be awesome

Foxmarks extension for Firefox (http://www.foxmarks.com/) allows you to create an account which can sync your Firefox bookmarks on any computer on which you have Firefox and the Foxmarks extension installed.
