How to sync videos?

Hello,
Im using iphone 2G 2.0.2 firmware and latest itunes 7.7.1. I just synced over 600 songs to my ipod sucessfully but am unable to sync videos to my iphone using itunes. Can someone pls help me undestand how to use itunes to sync videos?
 
1. Make sure videos are in iPhone format (use Handbrake for DVDs, iSquint or VisualHub for other file formats).
2. Import videos into iTunes library (drag and drop).
3. Go into iPhone sync preferences when it's connected and make sure the videos you want to sync to phone are checked, or you've got it set to automatically sync videos.

That's it.

I tried importing video into iTunes library and also synced it but still doesnt show up in my iphone....help

Make sure you have the checkmark on the videos you want on the phone.

Plug it in, and on the 'summary' screen for the iphone, click the Video tab.

Im trying to sync quicktime format videos...also i tried converting the video to iphone/ipod format using 'easy video converter' and then importing it with itunes and then synced it but still cant find the video on iphone..confused

Really stupid question (not to insult you), but you did tap the ipod icon on the iphone and then tap the "more" on the bottom right (assuming "Videos" isn't one of the options below)?

I now synced the video as tv shows and it now shows on my iphone but still there is no sound....any ideas?
