Be at your login screen. Enter your password and quickly press Command + Shift + 3 to screenshot before it logs in. And there you have it!

Or... take your smart phone, start the camera, aim it at the screen and press the button.

Upload to social network of choice, or be old-school an email.

You can also login remotely via SSH and capture the screen from the command line. Or at least, you used to be able to do that.
