I am going to buy macbook pro but I am worried about few things(i never had a mac before).

1- the battery because I am always run on ac power but very few cases i ran on battery.
I will treat it as all in on computer (home-college -Entertainment-etc)

on my vaio I am used to uninstall the battery and re-install it.

but on macbooks batteries are built in.

i was reading (on some forums) that if i disconnected the battery and operate on the megasafe the Processor speed will be reduced to 1GHz(is that true?)

and I am not comfortable screw/ un-screw the macbook.
2-about cleaning up the mac it's required to open it and uninstall the.

uninstalling built in battery I don't think it's a good idea?
blz feed me back your advice.
thank you.

No need to remove the battery at all
Just plug your MBP in and leave it plugged in

You should calibrate it about once a month by draining the battery
Check the Apple site for guidelines on the battery and you will find it is pretty straightforward

Mine stays plugged 24/7

thank you guys

Thank you guys
