I'd like to be able to take a screenshot of a DVD movie paused at a particular frame. What's the best method/software to do this?
Thanks in advance.

or you could use SnapzPro X
with it you can actual take a picture of: the screen, selected area of a screen, window....or EVEN record a movie of what is showing on your screen.

plus you are not restricted by the dvd player.... :) which usually happens if you have ever tryed to push command shift 3

Yes, let's spend $70 for something that can be done for free...

I would love to have Snapz Pro, but it just costs too much. What the OP wants can be done for free, so why buy Snapz Pro?

It is an awesome app though.

Out of curiousity, do you work for Ambrosia? I noticed you reference a couple of their products recently.
