I plan on buying an 8GB iPod Touch very soon. Is there any way I can check to see if the applications are on it? Possibly a new cover art? Or Week 37-38 something. Thanks.

well, if the apps are not on it, you could just connect the iPod touch to iTunes and it should download the necessary apps (once they are available).

So if I buy the Touch, and it will automatically download, with no charge?

If you buy it directly from apple it will have the apps on it. If you buy it from Best Buy or some electronics store it probably will not because they don't have the most recent shipment

I bought mine and It had the Lennon cover. And It was from the apple store

If you do go to the store and of rings up as 379.99 then it has no update on it. Apple did this to adjust for the upgrade price, naturally.

I heard that the new boxes actually have a picture of the touch's homescreen, with the new apps included.

Is this just a rumor?

Connect your Touch to iTunes.
