how to tell if parts are genuine?

if i suspect that somebody has tampered with my phone previously is there any way of distinguishing between genuine and fake copy parts? like do apple have a unique part number layout e.t.c?

What parts do you suspect are tampered with? There's not much in the iPhone that you can get a replaceable part for...

lcd screen, battery e.t.c? would they say apple on them?

No, because they aren't made by Apple. Check iFixit's teardown for some shots of what things "should" look like, but if you seriously think someone had the time to tamper with your battery and LCD you've got bigger problems.

i didnt mean 'ooo someones tampered with my battery whilst i was out of the house' i meant the person who owned it before me, but yes the battery was replaced.
the lcd also says apple on the ribbon..
