I just put 8gb of RAM into my 15-inch mid-2010 Macbook Pro, swapping out the original 4gb (huge improvement by the way). My sister has a 13-inch late 2008 Macbook unibody with 2bg of RAM, so I figured I would give her my 4gb, but I wasn't sure if it was compatible. How would I find out?

They both take exactly the same RAM (1066 MHz PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM) so it should work fine.

You should be fine, but in the future-- you can use the scanner tool on Crucial.com. It will tell you which kind of RAM you need.
