I purchased a leather smart cover from ebay (claims to be genuine) in black leather to replace my grey poly SC.
It seems to not fit as well as the poly. I can't tell if it's due to the thicker leather, because it's new, or because it's fake.
If you have a genuine smart cover in leather, please check for me:
1. Is "designed by apple..." embossed into the microfiber on the inside?
2. can you fold it in half (microfiber facing in) and have the magnets stick? (my poly SC can do this)
3. with the SC closed on the ipad, how much play is there by moving your thumb against it?
