How to tell if your iPhone will ship today!!!

This is what i do...

instead of putting your own order number, type down an order number before yours.

If its been shipped, then yours will ship either the same day or the next.

If it hasnt been shipped, go another number behind.

(Example: 52, 51, 50, 49.. ect...)

If that one hasnt been shipped, keep on going till you reach an order number that has been shipped.

Lets say my number order number is 52... (And i check it on Tuesday)

I check 51... and it hasnt been shipped...
I check 50... and it hasnt been shipped...
I check all the way down to 46 and number 46 shipped that day...

That means Im number 6 on the waiting list.

So I Keep on doing that every 3 hours.

A day Passes....

So I check my order number again. (On Wednsday)

I check 52 (my order number) and it hasnt been shipped...

I check 51.... and nothing...
I check 50... and nothing,....
I check 49.... and... its been shipped!

So that means im #3 on the waiting list because numbers 47 and 48 were shipped...

So if you want to know what number you are on the waiting list, i recomment you to Back Track a few order numbers under you until you reach a number that has been shipped. CAlculate the difference between the shipped number and your number, and thats the number you are in line.

Im number 2 at this moment, so i know that it will ship today or tomorrow because they ship about a few orders everyday.

"A few" depends in the city you live in. My place is more like a growing town. We only have one Tall building and its a Nursing Home. lol

So if its a big city, "a few" can mean probably a whole truck load or more.

Here, "a few" means about 6-10 phones.
(Population of 40,000)

And Im number 52 in MY city to purchase an Iphone!!!!
 
This won't always work. For instance, if the order before yours was for a white iPhone, it will have shipped many days before yours is slated to ship. You should check a few of the orders placed before yours for a better idea.
 
Theoretically, wouldn't it also not be accurate cos someone could've gotten something besides an iPhone?

hehehe.... true about the white iphones.... because there is already an order after me that has been shipped... Im number 52 and that person is number 56...

So it will work in a way, but wont in another.
Oh, and I probably think that all other phones must be in stock other than iphones because what customer wouldnt want one.? :D

But the good thing is that number 49, and 50 have had there phones shipped today.

Numbers 51, 52 (me), 53... ect.... will ship next, so Im getting mine 2morrow or friday!!!! Seeing that i already got charged 215 dollars off my bank account today!!! WOOOO!!!!
 
At my particular AT&T store I was the last to order on July 11th. Mine came in before over half of the other orders on that day. Mine in a Black 16GB. It doesn't seem to be first come first serve.

Yep. I was the first to order on 7/28 and mine still hasn't shipped while orders as far as 16 after mine (didn't bother checking any higher) shipped today. This is total BS.
