Basically, I wanted to just go on a simple game of Runescape with a friend of mine, and on High detail it was lagging... Now I'm sorry, but I have run High Detail on a freakin 4 year old dell with a 128mb internal gfx card and it hasn't lagged.

Is there a way I can check which graphics card is being used? Is there a way I can force it to use the 9600M GT?

Thanks!

have you got your MBP on energy saving mode or performance.

if you run your mac on energy saving mode your using the 9400 and if you have it on performance mode your using the 9600

Also if you click the apple and go to "About his Mac" and then Graphics/Displays I think it also tell you there, but not sure if that tells you that you have 2 cards that you have

Thanks very much! It's silly that you have to log out to change it.

And now my MBP is ridiculously hot! LOL!! (It makes a good leg warmer though :))
