I need to temporarily remove my Dropbox files from my computer. I want to make sure that a few days later, I can re-download them from the cloud. How can I do this without accidentally deleting them from the cloud? Should I, for instance, uninstall Dropbox, then delete the folder from my computer?

You can quit Dropbox and delete the local files without affecting the cloud files, or you can enable Selective Sync and choose which folders you want on your local computer.
