How to test processor speed and/or hard drive speed?

Hey I was wondering if there are any applications out there that enable me to receive a score for my processor and/or hard drive speed and then compare it to other scores with people who have the same model Mac. Please do not include Geek Bench. Thanks!

blackmagic disk speed test would do for the disk test.

I would not suggest Xbench for anything but disk testing. It is very old having not been updated since 2006 and can give rather incorrect test marks.

Yes, generally best done right after a restart with no applications open.

Yes you should close all applications. And better if you reboot your Mac and do not open any apps before running the test.

Cinebench is quite good at testing CPU performance. Its also free.

What is a good score? I think the speed I'm getting is bad I don't know. Right now I did 5gb stress and got around 60.

Also one more thing, as of late Blackmagic Disk Speedtest has been giving me some very incorrect readings. Like 30MB per second when it's really 80MB per second.
