Hello, how to test used iPod shuffle 2 gb battery before buying? general advises before buying second hand ipod? thanks

Try to borrow it,and play music nonstop for 5-6 hours or more with the headphones or speakers you will use for it,if it still got 50 percent battery or more,it should be ok.

I always found Shuffles to have really good battery life. I still have my 1st ben 512MB Shuffle, and it can still go for hours!
Just as long as the seller doesn't seem sketchy, I think you should be fine.

Most iPods work well for years. I still got my first gen iPod classic, even if the battery has shown signs of degradation the last 6-8 months,it's still possible to get at least 50 percent of the playtime it had from the beginning.

I've got one from 2011 and it still gets 15 hours listening time.

Admittedly, I don't use it very often as I have other devices but they are built like tanks and keep on going.
