Hi,

I want to transfer my own custommade (I’m a composer/musician) MP3’s to the AW for walks without my phone.
Backing tracks for composing toplines and to check form/mix.

I have read “how-to”s and guess the right way is tomake playlists in the “Music” app on my phone, and then syncronize with AW, but the problem is how to get the files into the “music” app in the first place.

Is it really true that I can’t import custom files without connecting to a Mac/iTunes?

My studio computer is from 2010 and sealed from web/upgrades, so the old iTunes version won’t recognize the iPhone. My other macs are even older.
They still work fine for my use.

Is there any other way to get music files onto the watch?
A clever hack?
Third party apps?

I managed to download some podcasts for offline listen. A workaround could be to make a secret/private podcast with my own material, and download via outkast...but that’s a lot of work...

please help
Thanks

I don’t think this is possible without a compatible computer.

Or

As you mentioned have an app that also has an Apple Watch counter part of it where you’d be able to listen to the music.

There are other softwares like iMazing that I think will let you do this and might be supported on your old mac:

It requires Yosemite or higher which I know came out in 2014. There are other similar softwares like this that may work too.
