How to transfer files between Mac and remote computer

Hello, I installed the VNC program called Chicken on my Mac. I use it to connect to a ubuntu linux machine. How do I transfer files between my Mac and the remote ubuntu linux machine? Thanks.

You could use sftp, which already exists on your Mac (accessible via Terminal). Or any number of file transfer applications.
