How to transfer from Final Cut Pro to DVD Studio Pro?

There is a bug in iDVD '08 that when burning a large project to disc,
the audio slowly goes out on sync.

For that reason I figured that I would try burning the project with
DVD Studio Pro instead.

I'm totally new to the PRO software so I could use some assistance
with these questions....

1. I was able to import my iMovie '06 project to Final Cut with
no problem. However, how do I EXPORT the project to DVD Studio Pro?
Under EXPORT there is no command to do such a thing.

2. Can I create menus and slideshow in DVD Studio Pro?

Nope. DVD Studio Pro gives you the ability to make fully scripted DVD menus. It is vastly more powerful than iDVD is, but likewise it is harder to use.

FCP -> DVD Studio Pro -> Compressor sounds like the tool chain you want to use. The manuals really are very easy to read and should help you out with any problems you have.

Let me expand this a bit further....

I found out compressor is an encoder that will allow me
to fit my project to any kind of media.

But this is only the tip of my problem and I hope
that someone can give me some good advice here.

As I stated, I created a large project in iMovie '06 and
then exported to iDVD '08 and set it for DL DVD burn.

There is a bug in the iDVD software that slowly puts
audio out of sync when burning to DVD, particularly
dual layer.

So I have Final Cut Pro but never really gave it any use.

Here is what I need to do....

Take my finished assembled iMovie project and burn it
with Final Cut instead of iDVD in hope it will fix the sync problem.

I can open the iMovie project with Final Cut Pro

Now, I need to create menus and a photo slideshow.

Where do I export the project next for menus and slideshow
addition, and then where next to burn the DVD?
