I can't transfer over with my external hard drive because it isn't formatted fat32. I just used my flash drive to drag and drop. I got some of the songs over to the PC and then dragged the folder to iTunes. They copied fine.

When I click on the song to play in iTunes, it says the oiginal file could not be located and gives the "!". When I go to the folder and click it, iTunes plays the track. What's the deal?

It is probably looking for the files on the flash drive. Under Preferences/Advanced do you have "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library" checked?
