How to Transfer mails and contacts

Can Migration Assistance able to transfer all the emails and contacts from old to new mac? If not, what's the best way?

Can Migration Assistance able to transfer all the emails and contacts from old to new mac? If not, what's the best way?

iCloud can transfer contacts if you have that set up on the old mac. Also, if you are using IMAP for your email it is still on the server and you should be able to pull it back down on the new mac after you put in the account.
