How to transfer movie file from ipad to pc?

I have transferred a movie from dvd to my ipad. I lost the movie file after my pc hd crashed.

Is there any way I can retrieve the movie file on my ipad to my PC?

I'm not positive on this one, but a program like Senuti may allow you to connect your iPad and extract content outside of iTunes. I know people do this to get music off iOS devices, so I would hope that it would work the same on an iPad for video content.

The Application "PhoneDisk" will allow your iPad to be mounted as an external drive, and the movie can be dragged onto your PC:
