How to transfer my contacts

I have an iphone 4s but not all my contacts are back up in icloud...i don't know why. But i want to move to iphone 5s and not loose my contacts. There is another way?

iTunes. Do a full backup, then when you get the new phone, restore from backup. It will be like the exact same phone, with the same settings, wallpaper, everything.

so backup itunes is different from icloud backup? because i tried 2 times to make an icoud backup and half of my contacts are not there (i don't know why)

Search the app store for "vcard"... there are some free apps that will export all your contacts to a vcard file that you can save and import to the other phone or even OS X easily.

Yes the iTunes backup restores everything. When you restore to the 5S everything you had on your old iPhone will be there in the exact same layout and settings. Contacts, photos, apps, everything.
