I have a folder in my iPhone called "iPhone" and I want those pictures on my computer, but they don't show up in Windows Explorer :\ Anyone know of a way to transfer pics that aren't on the camera roll? I looked in other threads but they were from a long time ago, anyone know of an easy way that actually works?

Kinda sucks to email over 500+ pictures to oneself.

iTunes should have a function for you to drag the pics out of your phone to your mac/pc (not camera roll)

It doesn't :\ Would make life much easier though

Can you try to sync to iPhoto? But I guess that is in the camera roll. Where are the pictures on your iPhone if they're not in the camera roll?

If you said the photos are stored in a folder in your iPhone, I guess your best bet would be to jailbreak your phone and access your iPhone through SSH on your computer, navigate to said folder and drag it off your phone and onto your computer.

Well what do windows 7 users do to sync their photos off their iPhone?

I wonder about that too. Programs like ImTOO iPhone Transfer change the original names, which I hate alot.
Tried to look for programs that let you easily manage your Photo Library (import/export) in batches, but so far no luck.

I didn't know sharepod exports pictures. Thank you :D

Too bad it doesn't keep the original names.

The only problem with it is that it takes it awhile to keep up with iTunes. When iTunes gets updated, it usually won’t work until the developer updates sharepod.

BTW, sharepod didn’t originally do pics, but he added that capability about a 6 months ago.

Oh I see. And I just tried exporting pics from the iPhone 4 and all it exports are the small thumbfiles. Looked under the options, but saw nothing related to picture export. Oh well..guess I'm missing something :(
