Hey guys, I am down for a family funeral and trying to create a slide show on my MBA to play at the services. Problem is that the photos live on a PC and I am struggling as to how to transfer them. I have a USB-A to USB-C cable and connected the two devices. PC says Mac is set up and ready, but the MBA does not show up in the Windows file manager for me to drag and drop or copy and paste files. The PC does not appear in the MBA Finder. Can anybody here help me out?

I saw that but it requires a PC app and all the PC and network credentials. There has to be an easier way, no? I just tried iTunes to maybe sync the photos to my iPhone but I can't see that ITunes does photos? It does videos and music, but not photos??

I also saw that you could copy the files onto a SB drive and then plug that into he Mac... except the MBA M2 is USB-C. I have USB-A TO USB-C adapter at home but not with me. :-/

As a workaround, upload them to a cloud storage service like OneDrive, Dropbox etc then download them on the other machine?

Assuming you're not familiar with setting up network drives, this is the best answer - Cloud Storage. You can use iCloud too.

Or use an external USB drive but you'll likely need an adaptor to convert between USB-A and USB-C depending what you have.
