iPod touch How to transfer photos and videos from Ipod touch 4th gen

I just upgraded to a 32gb ipod touch and want to transfer all my videos and photos from my ipod touch 8gb to my pc before I restore it but cannot figure it out, please some assistance, i dont see the option in itunes??? thanks

windows 7, I bought the transfer photo app and did it that way

If you're in Windows 7; you could have just used Import Pictures and Videos from the Autoplay menu. Windows recognizes the iPod touch as a camera now so it would just behave just like a camera.

Thanks tried it and it is much easier, not to mention a waste of 2.99 although some of my .mov videos stated corrupted but photo copy trans did copy them.

Yeah, with Windows 7 you can import it or just browse through it with Windows Explorer. Your iPod shows up as a "camera" type device and you can selectively copy the photos and videos you want.
