How to transfer pictures to another mac??

Do you just drag the library icons into an external HD and just drag them over to new mac?

id rather do that then drag individual pictures over and reorganize....

You can right click on those libraries and select "show package contents" to get to the folders with the individual pictures in them. Or just select the photos you want from within the app and drag them over to an external hdd

Yep. You might want to save off the two libraries on the new Mac just in case you want to undo. Also, make sure the apps are not running on the new Mac.
