How do you transfer all of your saved auto-fill passwords from Safari into Chrome?

It won't let me do it in Preferences/Personal Stuff/Browsing Data

The box "saved passwords" is grayed out and it won't let me select it!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Try out some things. Maybe the system Keychain (spotlight "Keychain Access") will kick in and provide Chrome what is needed. The disabled options in Chrone for dong this may be Windows items.

Why would keychain access just randomly "kick in"?

Anyone have any idea how to do this? There has to be a way!

Not randomly. Kick in because the keychain is where those items are stored.

When I open Keychain Access and look at "Passwords", in the Kind column I see some items of kind "Web form password". This is where both Safari and Chrome save and retrieve the "auto-fill passwords" you reference in the OP.

The box "saved passwords" is grayed out because it isn't needed on Mac. If you try out a few appropriate sites, I think you'll find Chrome has the passwords, if Safari does.
