My friend has an iphone. Took some video on it but its too big to email. What free program can I use to transfer the video to her iBook for her?

I don't know anything about macs really. I have an iPad but havent had this sort of issue.

I found a couple programs online that look like they would work. But wanted to get some opinions. Were going up to the mountians this evening and will have no et access soI'd like to get this taken care of quick.

Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

The only way a non jailbroken phone can transfer files is by plugging them into their main iTunes computer. All files will download to the computer with photos and movies going straight into iPhoto automatically.

Or is the G4 not her iTunes pc she syncs with? If not, burn the file on her main iTunes computer onto a CD or DVD and transfer the file to the G4 that way if it's too large to email.

Okay. There's a bunch of apps that let you mount your device as a WebDAV drive. He could try that.

On a G4? Seems like an old system to be hoping an app would be available for that. I think the OP must have figured it out anyway, as he needed it quickly?

You figure it out antwon412?

iPhone apps, not Mac apps.
