How to transfer Whattsapp pictures/videos to Google photos ???

Old 5C 16gb not much left Whattsapp is taking almost 3gb,searched online with no findings.Does anyone knows how to.I'm sure it's easy.

Have you tried doing a back up to iCloud or Google drive. I believe there is an option where you can back up your data and then restore on another device.

I can iCloud,but no option for Google drive.But iCloud is only 5gb and google has no limit for lower resolution pics.

I would think that if you download the Google Photo app, that would back up your photos to Google Drive.
