How to turn off ads when playing apps on iphone 4s

Hello,
I have 4S with IOS 5.1 on it, when I am playing apps for example tom cat, there are some ads shows up all sudden and i had to close them to continue playing what I am playing.
Is there any way to block these ? I see mostly to buy other apps, upgrade and other ads.

Ya you're going to have to use the apps you pay for, not the free ones to not have the ads bud.
