Hi,

I don't listen to music from my phone that often and I disabled "show Apple Music" in the Music settings.

But almost every time I open the Music app, it loads the "missed us?" ad for apple music.

The ad itself would be annoying enough if I could simply skip it, but it always blocks my music app because I cannot interact with the music App until the ad is loaded. (until then it shows this spinning loading-circle in the center). When I have bad cell signal, this can take some time and sometimes it crashes the App if it takes too long...

Is there a way to stop this from happening? I just want to open this app every couple of weeks or so and listen to the (offline) music I purchased on iTunes without having to wait for some ads to load every time.

I have an iPhone XS running iOS 12.4

Get Apple Music :p

On a more serious note, I’m not aware of any settings you could activate to disable the advertisement. However, I would recommend investing in a good adblocker that lets you block ads within applications.

Aside from that, there’s not much else you can do. Good luck!
