I tried the app Black Statusbar Clock from Cydia and it didn't do anything...

Basically what I am trying to do is remove the status bar clock on the home screen only, but still have it on the status bar for when I am in an app.

I have found how to remove the status bar clock all together, using MIM. But it also removes it from the bar when I am in apps. I want it gone from the home screen because I have a plug in with a huge clock on it, and also my clock icon is Live Clock so it's also a working analog clock... I don't need 3 clocks on that one screen! It looks funny with the status bar clock above the plugin! Looks much better without, but then I lose it in Safari etc. as well.

If I can turn it to black text it would work since my wallpaper has black at the top anyway... and then it would still show on the white status bar when I am in apps.

Obviously the current hacks in Cydia for changing the status bar clock color were not updated for IOS4.

Any ideas??
