How to underclock GPU MBP 15" i5 2010

Hello guys, so my MBP has the gpu issue (it's an Nvidia 330m) and right now I'm using Ubuntu on it without much problem. It never restarts in Ubuntu, mainly because I lowered the GPU speed over here. I wanted to try and lower the GPU speed in Mac OS to see if it would stop the random restarts.

Do you guys have any idea on how to do this?

Your dGPU is probably on the way out those ones are nearly as notorious as the ones in the 2011 model.

Gfxcard status is a little free app that will be able to swap you to the iGPU and should help you avoid restarts.

Yeah, I've tried that and it doesn't seem to stick. When I dissable the dGPU, I cannot make the setting stick. When I try to reboot, the computer hangs itself and I have to force restart and when I'm back again, the dGPU is enabled again.
