Hello

I have some questions about office 2011
- I installed Office 2011 in Dutch but actually needed Enlgish version. Seems this can't be chagned :/
- Now I have an English Office but I have some serious issues. I found this link: http://mac2.microsoft.com/help/offi...category=1dbf952e-1f61-47f6-85fa-196a22eaf824
But this can't be the best way, coming from Windows this is so unbelievable that this is the only way to delete software??

Then I found this http://www.fixkb.com/2011/06/completely-uninstall-microsoft-office.html
But there's a chance Office 2008 gets mangled too (I still need to have this installed and working).

Can someone please advice me on what I need to do?

Thanks in advance

Personally, I think MS have been deliberately obtuse about the removal of their software on the mac platform. Most vendors producing a Mac software suite (such as Adobe) provide an uninstall utility, much the same as on Windows.

However, what you do need to remember about Mac software is that it is not as messy in the installation process as it is on Windows - there is no registry, for starters. Most things are self-contained in the .app files. Therefore, a basic uninstall is completed simply by dragging the office 2011 applications folder to the trash.

If you really need to remove ALL traces, then there are license files, fonts and other bits and pieces in various system folders. There are directions on the MS site here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2398768 to remove them all.

Personally, I think simply removing the Office folder should be sufficient for your purposes. YMMV.
