iPhoto isn't really iPhoto - it's Lame Secure; A file and application program that password protects them for safe usage. My MacBook Pro doesn't recognize it as iPhoto. iPhoto alerts me of an update, but it can't actually update it. Last time I had to update iPhoto, I had to delete iPhoto and reinstall it with the Leopard DVD. I don't want to have to do that again. Here are some pictures that show the problem.

As you can see the update never appeared, only iTunes did which reminds me...
 
I'm not sure if there's any way around this, as Apple requires that apps retain their given name and remain in the main Applications folder for Software Update to see them.

Since LameSecure is meant to disguise apps, I'm not aware of a way to enable it and still allow Software Update to keep tabs on it.
