If you have an older OCZ SSD or a Crucial SSD you will know that the updates are an ISO that you have to burn. Well I Have an OCZ Vertex Plus (NOT VERTEX 2, NOT VERTEX, VERTEX PLUS.) I Downloaded the ISO, burned it, and the mac sees the dvd to boot from, aaaaaaand, nothing, it just hangs when you try to boot from it. I'm not sure if its a DOS iso or Linux iso. I'm really lost, I Cant use the SSD until I Update it as it has the data corruption bug and the update fixes it. Any ideas???

Must be done on a Windows PC. I just had to do one. I took the drive out, put it in a PC Laptop and booted from the CD and updated it.

Hmm, any info on what versions of the OCZ need this firmware update?
