How to update wife's iPhone w/o installing my apps on it

Every time I try and sync my wife's iPhone with iTunes it tries to put all my iPad apps on it too. Each device has its own name and are no way linked together separate apple id iCloud accts and so on.

Every time I try and sync my wife's iPhone with iTunes it tries to put all my iPad apps on it too. Each device has its own name and are no way linked together separate apple id iCloud accts and so on.

On the iPhone view in iTunes there's a setting in one of the first two tabs that says sync new apps into phone.. or load new apps. Its in those first two tabs or in the apps tab after you scroll past all the apps on the list. I'm working off of my memory here, so I'm trying my best.

Is it on iOS 5? You can do OTA to iOS 5.0.1 if so.
