Hello folks -- I have a year old 3Gs iphone that I would like to upgrade to 3.1. Since one can only upgrade to 4.0 now through itunes, and I don't want to upgrade to that version, is there anything I can do to get 3.1 on my phone? If yes, how do I do it? Thanks!

Not unless you have SHSH's saved for the particular built number you're trying to restore/update to.
Without that itunes wont let you restore to anything but the latest firmware thats out with 3GS and iPhone 4 models.
