Hi everybody!

I've a MBP 13" mid 2010. It works on memory with 1066MHz, but once I bought 2x4GB DDR3 1333MHz it's not working, I searched on web and found that Taiphoon Burner and SPD Tool downgrades the frequency 1333 to 1066 and makes them work. So my question is do that programs work on Windows with Parallels Desktop? Or do you know any other programs which work under the Mac? Thanks

It has nothing to do with the software. The RAM modules themselves have to have an internal profile supporting the lower speeds. Otherwise, they won't be recognized.

Really just return them and buy RAM that is supported out of the box. Will be so much easier in the long run
