Well maybe not so much how to it but more like if the mp3 file is currently 2MB what can I do to make it fit withing the 20480kb guidelines of the site. What do I do with the file to upload it to the site successfully if it's such a large file - by the site's standards??

by my calculations 20480kb is 2560KB. so that would definitely fit and especially if it was a typo and you meand 20480KB!

Hmmm. 2MB = 2048 KB, which seems well below the limit. Even if it is kilobits, then 20480 kb = 2.5 MB. You should be fine.

To reduce file sizes on other files should you need to do so, record them at lower quality.

Edit: beaten to the punch!
