A friend has posed the following question to me: "how to upload TV recordings off a PC (in ms_ram format) into an iPod Touch." Then, if that is doable, he would like to connect his Touch into a TV to watch the video. I haven't a clue on how to do this--if it's even doable. Any comments or suggestions much appreciated. Thanks.

If the video cannot be imported into iTunes, you won't be able to sync it to the iPod touch. As I have never heard of an ms_ram format, I do not know if iTunes can import it or not. You'll probably need to convert it to .mp4 before importing into iTunes though.

As to playing it from the Touch on your television, you'll need the video out cable for that, but it's doable.

Thanks, Darth. I had never heard of that ms_ram format either, and couldn't find anything on it on the internet. I think he might be mistaken on the format. Regardless, he'll have to convert it to mp4 format before importing it into iTunes and his Touch.
