I saw this link on another forum http://www.flickr.com/photos/11713639@N05/sets/72157602376331246/
it's a picture of an imac using a VESA mount. It look's really cool and I'd really like to be able to lower my imac and pull it out but what do I buy and where do I buy it? I know you need the mount adapter, but where do you buy a mount?

the mount is c clamp style vesa mount.. running from $40+ Any electronic retailer will carry them ..

the vesa mounts are 75 or 100 mm.. if you go into apple store and ask about vesa mounts they'll give you the right mount for your unit but there'll be the apple premium price too..

Nope. it's $29 for VESA Mount Adapter Kit for 24-inch iMac at store.apple.com

the bracket for the imac isn't the issue -- the mounting arms are pretty expensive --- $300 range for the ones I've seen.

might get a setup anyhow, my imac give me a neck ache :(
