between flesh and thought
I picked up an AirPort Extreme basestation. I want to use it ONLY to wirelessly connect my laser printer to my network. I don’t want to use it for anything else, except maybe an extender but that is not as important. I would like to connect my printer via Ethernet to the the basestation and then let my other Macs and possibly phone or iPad print to it over the wireless network but I don’t require the iOS devices to work with it, just the Macs. My modem
also acts as my primary wireless router. I want the AEB to only connect to the network via wifi.

I have set up the AEB using a Mac and connected a printer and installed it. I have the AEB connected to my network. My other Macs do not see the printer or the base station.

What did I miss?

Thanks
