I know the is a silly question, but setting the Appearance to Auto doesn't seem to be working right. I have it set to auto, I also have Night shift set to turn on/off at sunrise/sunset. For the last couple of days, Auto appearance does change eventually, I am not sure what triggers it. But like this morning, sunrise is 7:11 AM, and I noticed Night Shift toggled off as expected, but I am still in dark mode 15 minutes later. I also have the wallpaper on my MacBook Pro that was installed when I upgraded to Catalina, and it has turned to daylight this morning. I verified time and time zone are correct. Is there a trick to getting the appearance to switch to day and night, or is there something blocking it working properly I should investigate? How is it working for everyone else?

Yeah this is broken. I even went into General/Appearance, went to Dark and back to Auto, it stayed dark. I then went to Light and back to Auto, and it flipped to Dark.
