Ok so i just got my Macbook (not the new on) and i am learning to use it very slowly and i am enjoying it, But there is a few things i just dont know how to do, one is how do i use the built in camers (what program)

Second is what is the best messenger to use, i have Microsoft Messenger at the minute but everytime i sign in it asks me to add alot of my contacts, this happens everytime.

Thanks in advance
Ross :)

i use iChat for video chatting. it doesn't work with MSN, though.

you can also use Photo Booth to take pictures with the iSight.

Ok thanks, i want to use an MSN account with it so skype wouldnt work, iChat seems fidly to set up, i will have a go when i get in.
Thanks
Ross

the Camera won't work with MSN unless you use something like aMSN which is very very buggy.

iChat works with AOL Instant Messenger which hardly anyone uses outside the USA.

Yahoo Messenger will work with the cam, but again not many users in Europe i don't think. Even though you can chat 'across networks' via Yahoo/MSN the Cam won't work across networks.

You can install Windows via BootCamp and use the camera there for MSN.
