How do I use my MBP's webcam for a speech class? I need to record a speech & then convert to DVD to mail it to my instructor.

I have 13" uniMBP w/ OSX SL

thank you

You can also use the quicktime player if you please (presuming you have the pro license), which unlike photo-booth will allow you to select any input you want for the audio (so you could use an audio interface with a nice mic if you have that equipment). Otherwise, both applications will default to the built in mic on your MBP. After you've recorded your video just import the assets into idvd and you're good to go.

Video recording is available via Photo Booth, iMovie (which will also let you edit the speech), and QuickTime 7 (if you have Snow Leopard).
