How to use my iPhone with my car?

Okay, i'm still looking for just a flat out answer, even though it's pretty basic, and i've searched for it.

How would i go about using my iPhone to play music over the cars speakers, and possibly make / take calls (using bluetooth).

This is what I know..

You should be able to utilize Bluetooth for the phone component. My two Acuras have this and they works seemlessly. Music is another thing altogether. Don't have the solution...but you're wanting to play the music via BTooth, right? Hmmm don't think that can happen....if so, I'd like to know.
