how to use YAHOO EMAIL when clicking on Email link

Can anyone help me. I remember being able to configure IE and FIREFOX to automatically open my free YAHOO EMAIL account (webmail) when i click on an email link online. I was hoping SAFARI or FIREFOX for MAC could do it too. UNfortunately I couldn't find a way to do it. So what happens is i do it manually meaning copying the email address online, opening yahoo.com and logging in the mail page, pasting the address, and finally writing the content of the email. It could be tedious at times especially when you have several windows open and you cut and paste between two windows etc.

Would anyone know how to go about this or is this one issue Apple can improve on?

The Yahoo Mail thing is an extension for Firefox, so you'll have to install it from the Mozilla site, the extension is here.
