What you will need:

- A small screwdriver
- Heatshrink (Non Adhesive preferably)
- Insulation tape
- Heat gun (Preferably) OR a lighter.

Basically, take off the bulky housing that surrounds the terminal that fits into your iPhone. Mine had two small clips either side that i prized open with a small screwdriver.

Slide the heatshrink over the bare terminal to insulate it.

Et voilà.. A charger that fits into your IP4 with bumper. :)

Don't forget to put a mark on the side that is UP for the cable... if not you could damage your internal dock connector.

The back of the charger will be flatter/smoother.

But indelibly marking it would be a good idea too :)
